Location
El Combate is a rural coastal small town mainly highly crowded during Summer time. The rest of the year, it is quiet, calm and easy to move around.
From here you will be about a 8 minute drive or less to the Lighthouse and Playa Sucia beach. Both are landmarks that you should not miss out. Playa Sucia was an unknown beach until Travel & Leisure Magazine listed it as one of the beat 10 unknown beaches. As you may know by now… it is not longer unknown.
We also recommend you visit Parguera’s Bio-Bay at Lajas; about a 20 minute drive from our condo. You may spend the day at Parguera — kayaking thru Mangrove canals, deep sea fishing, boat rides and more — and at night, see the Bio-Bay either on boat or on a kayak nightly tour.
Cabo Rojo’s perfect location allows you to move through several towns — Lajas, Hormigueros, San German and Mayaguez — in less than 20 minutes or so from the apartment.
