The freshest seafood is always available. Local restaurants include Los Remos, 101 West, Mao’s, El Bohio, Island View, Nautica and many others. The biggest fisheries on the Island are located at Puerto Real, Cabo Rojo.

The beaches along the south coast of the island are beautiful strips of white-sanded glory. Wander the shores at Boqueron Bay Beach, which is known for its lush palms, and Playuela (also known as Playa Sucia) and Buye Beach, considered by many to be the prettiest beaches in Cabo Rojo. El Combate Beach, La Mela beach, Joyuda Beach, Los Morrillos historic lighthouse built in 1882, Salt Flats, are other places to explore when you stay in Cabo Rojo. Also Cabo Rojo’s town plaza, ‘Plaza Publica’, built in 1760, will marvel you.
